If you want to get the atmosphere of Santorini, complete with uphill winding path at the end of your meal to the parking lot, I suggest this low-key comfortable restaurant. It is not fancy, but with nice not traditionally campy paintings and its curved wooden chairs, it gives the look of a relaxed establishment/cafe in Santorini. The service is excellent; well-mannered and well-trained, attentive. The food was very good. The waitress brought over warmed, oiled and herbed pita bread and a very good hummus. The Greek salad accompanying the entree was substantial with enough enjoyable ingredients to make it satisfyingly complete. This restaurant allowed one choice of several sides which is hospitable to different dietary needs. I ate the moussaka; was not perfect- the waitress offered to replace it but I kept it because it was tasty and vowed to ask the right questions next time (I like very creamy Bechemel on top) because it was good enough to return to this restaurant. My dinner companion ordered grilled three-meat platter, thoroughly enjoying it even when comparing it to her native Turkish cuisine. Happy Greek music played. The only issue I had here was charging me to use my credit

I would come back here just for the pita and hummus they provide to each table. They’re that good. The fish and chicken kabob we had were fresh and well seasoned. The service was very friendly and attentive. A great neighborhood spot that you can go to often because it’s reasonably priced.

We arrived around 5:15 p.m. and didn’t leave until almost 8 p.m. because the food took forever to come out. We tried to be understanding since the restaurant was very busy and asked to move to an indoor table because it was very cold outside and I had my pet with me. After asking several times, I finally spoke with the manager, who apologized and said she would have us moved. However, none of the servers helped us relocate—we had to move everything ourselves and find a new table. The manager later came by to check on us and kindly offered drinks, but when the food finally arrived, one of the dishes (the shrimp) was cold, and two of our plates were missing items that were supposed to be included. We decided to eat anyway since we had already waited so long. We also had to ask for silverware three times before it was finally brought to the table. When the waitress came back, we asked for the check and mentioned one of the dishes that wasn’t right, saying we didn’t want to wait any longer. Her response was that “everyone had to wait,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I told her that such delays are not the customers’ fault—it’s a management issue. She only acknowledged the
